• Application Areas:
  Suitable for solvent-based and solvent-free systems, particularly ideal for solvent-free polyurethane resins and epoxy floor coatings. It is also applicable to PVC plastisol coil coatings, industrial coatings, can coatings, architectural coatings, and protective coating systems.

• Performance Characteristics:

  • Effectively eliminates bubbles and pinholes, delivering excellent defoaming performance in systems with low film thickness, such as industrial coatings, coil coatings, and automotive primer surfacers.
  • Does not adversely affect the recoatability or interlayer adhesion of coatings.
  • Due to its incompatibility with certain materials, it is necessary to test its impact on the transparency of clear coats before use.

• Recommended Dosage: 0.1%-1% of the additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation.

• Usage Method:
  For optimal defoaming results, the defoamer should be added to the grinding paste. If added at a later stage, sufficient shear force must be applied to ensure good dispersion of the defoamer and prevent crater formation.
