Chemical Composition: Mixture of defoaming polysiloxanes and hydrophobic particles in polyglycol.
Typical Physicochemical Data: Color is greyish-yellow and turbid; odor is unnoticeable; density is 0.9950 g/cm³ (at 20℃); water solubility is insoluble; vapor pressure is <1.0000000 hPa (at 20℃); auto-ignition temperature is >200℃. In addition, some data shows that its non-volatile content is 97% and flash point is 100℃.
Features and Advantages: It is VOC-free, has no impact on color acceptance and gloss, possesses long-term stability, is extremely effective in eliminating micro-foam, and can also be used in amine-neutralized systems.
Application Fields: Suitable for water-based industrial coatings, architectural coatings, wood coatings, as well as printing inks and adhesives. Specifically, it includes plastic coatings, furniture coatings, exterior wall paints, high-gloss and semi-gloss paints, wood/floor varnishes, etc.
Recommended Dosage:
In the coating industry: The dosage of the additive (in as-supplied form) is 0.05%-0.8% based on the total formulation.
In printing inks and overprint varnishes: The dosage of the additive (in as-supplied form) is 0.2%-1% based on the total formulation.
In adhesives: The dosage of the additive (in as-supplied form) is 0.05%-0.5% based on the total formulation.
Addition Method: Due to the high incompatibility of the additive, this defoamer must be incorporated under high shear force to ensure good dispersion; otherwise, defects in the system may occur.
Storage and Transportation: This product may stratify, so please mix well before use. It is not a dangerous product, non-toxic, and non-flammable. It should be stored in a sealed container in a cool, ventilated, and dry indoor place. Please keep it tightly closed when not in use. The shelf life of unopened original packaging is 60 months when stored at 20℃.
