• Chemical Composition: Polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane solution.
• Solvent: Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether (DPM).
• Typical Physicochemical Data: Appearance is light yellow liquid; density is approximately 0.9770 g/cm³ (at 20℃); flash point is 78℃; non-volatile content is 60% (test condition: 60 minutes at 105℃); water solubility is immiscible.
• Features and Advantages: It has long-term stability and shear stability. It exhibits excellent defoaming performance during the production and application of water-based coatings, without affecting color acceptance and gloss. Additionally, this defoamer possesses outstanding long-term storage stability.
• Application Fields: Especially suitable for water-based coating systems of polyurethane dispersions and polyurethane/acrylate composite dispersions, as well as water-based overprint varnishes and water-based pigment concentrates based on acrylate dispersions. It is also applicable to water-based systems and UV systems.
• Recommended Dosage: Generally, it is 0.1%-1% of the additive (if provided) based on the total formulation. Some data also shows that the dosage of this additive accounts for 0.1%-1.5% of the total formulation.
• Addition Method: Due to its high incompatibility, the defoamer must be incorporated under high shear force to ensure good dispersion and avoid defects such as craters.
• Packaging Specifications: Usually available in 25 kg/barrel and 200 kg/barrel.
