    • Stability: Stable in air and aqueous solutions.
  • Toxicity

    • Acute Toxicity: The acute oral LD₅₀ for rats is >8000 mg/kg, and the acute dermal LD₅₀ for rats is >1200 mg/kg. For mice, the acute oral LD₅₀ is 17540 mg/kg (male), and the acute dermal LD₅₀ is 15000 mg/kg.
    • Other Toxicity: It has slight irritant effects on the skin, is low in toxicity to birds (the acute oral LD₅₀ for quail is >2000 mg/kg), and is non-toxic to honeybees.
  • Mode of Action

    • Asulam is a systemic, translocated sulfonylurea herbicide classified as a cell growth inhibitor. The active ingredient is easily absorbed by the stems, leaves, and roots of plants. After absorption by the stems and leaves, it can be translocated to the growing points of underground rhizomes, where it inhibits the respiration of underground rhizomes, thereby depriving them of reproductive capacity.
  • Product Features

    • Selectivity: It exhibits selectivity, effectively controlling a variety of weeds while remaining relatively safe for target crops.
    • Strong Systemic Activity: With high systemic properties, it can be absorbed and translocated by plants to achieve comprehensive weed control.
    • Long Persistent Period: It maintains herbicidal activity for an extended period, providing continuous weed suppression within a certain timeframe.
  • Suitable Crops and Application Methods

    • Suitable Crops: Applicable to crops such as sugarcane, cotton fields, soybeans, cereals, sugar beets, tomatoes, and onions.
    • Application Methods: Primarily used as a spray. For example, to control weeds in sugarcane fields, the application rate is 2250-5250 g/ha.
  • Packaging

    • Common packaging specifications include 1 kg aluminum foil bags, 10 kg aluminum cans, and 25 kg fiber drums.
