Usage Method

  1. AFE-0050 can be directly added to the foaming system; ensure uniform dispersion. If dilution is required, the storage period of the diluted solution should not exceed 24 hours.
  2. For systems with high foaming temperatures (> 60°C), it is recommended to add AFE-0050 (or its diluted solution) to the system before the temperature reaches 60°C, followed by uniform dispersion to maximize its effectiveness.
  3. Based on factors such as the viscosity, temperature, and agitation intensity of different foaming systems, adjust the dosage in 10-ppm increments to select the most cost-effective amount. Generally, a dosage of 30 - 200 ppm ensures ideal defoaming results. For certain industries (e.g., coatings, biological fermentation), the dosage may need to be 2‰ - 5‰.

Packaging and Storage

  • Packaging: Usually supplied in 200-kg blue plastic drums; customized packaging is available upon customer request.
  • Storage: Should be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. The shelf life is 12 months. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and keep away from heat sources; anti-freezing measures are required when the temperature drops below 0°C in winter.
