• Preservative Synergism: Enhances the antibacterial efficacy of traditional preservatives and polyols. By reducing the surface tension of microbial cell walls and inhibiting bacterial activity, it makes preservative systems more effective and rapid. It also improves the broad-spectrum performance of traditional preservatives such as phenoxyethanol.
• Moisturizing & Skin-Care: As a non-ionic, plant-derived moisturizing ingredient, it can increase the synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid by approximately 20%. It enhances the moisturizing effect of formulations while providing a smooth skin feel.
• Deodorization: Effectively inhibits the growth and reproduction of bacteria that cause odors, without affecting the beneficial skin flora for the human body, thereby achieving odor control.
• Other Efficacies: Activates extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERK) to promote wound healing and tissue regeneration; reduces DNA damage caused by UV radiation; and induces the expression of epidermal growth factor (EGF) to enhance skin repair functions.

• Cosmetics Industry: Suitable for various skincare products such as moisturizing creams, eye creams, facial masks, serums, and baby care products. The recommended addition level is 0.05%–0.3%.
