Appearance: White to off-white crystalline powder or flaky crystals
Melting Point: 92.0–96.0°C
Density: 0.99 g/cm³
Solubility: Soluble in mineral oil, ester solvents, and hot ethanol; requires heating above 68°C to dissolve in selected lipid carriers.
3. Quality Indicators
Assay (HPLC): ≥98% (standard specification, can be customized to ≥99% high purity)
Heavy Metals: ≤10 ppm
Loss on Drying: ≤0.5%
Residue on Ignition: ≤0.5%

4. Mechanism of Action
Kojic dipalmitate inhibits tyrosinase activity by binding to copper ions, preventing copper ions from activating tyrosinase. This blocks or delays melanin formation, inhibits the production of melanin-induced dark spots and freckles, promotes skin metabolism, and rapidly eliminates existing melanin pigments.
5. Applications
Mainly used as a whitening additive in cosmetics, demonstrating excellent repair effects on skin problems such as melasma, age spots, and pigmentation.
6. Packaging and Storage
Packaging: 1 kg/sterilized aluminum foil bag (lined with plastic bag), 25 kg/cardboard drum.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and dark place, sealed; shelf life is 24 months.
