Alias:Ethoxylated polyarylphenol, Polyethylene glycol mono(tristyrylphenyl)ether, etc.
Physical and Chemical Properties
Appearance:Usually colorless or slightly yellow liquid.
Solubility:Soluble in water, methanol, benzene, toluene and other solvents.
pH Value:The pH value of 1% aqueous solution is 5.0 - 7.0.
Performance Characteristics
It has excellent functions such as emulsification, decontamination, wetting, dispersion, penetration and adhesion.
Production Process
Usually, phenol and styrene are polymerized to form styrylphenol, and then styrylphenol is subjected to ethoxylation reaction with ethylene oxide to obtain the product.
Main Uses
Mainly used as an important hydrophilic component of compound pesticide emulsifiers. It can be used in a variety of pesticide products such as trifluralin, acetochlor, chlorpyrifos, and cypermethrin in combination with anionic emulsifiers.
It can also be used as an O/W emulsifier, wetting agent, cleaning agent, high-temperature leveling agent, etc.
