Technical Indicators
Purity: Usually 99% or higher.
Uses
Biochemical and Molecular Biology Research: As a phosphate donor, it participates in the energy metabolism process. Especially in C4 plants, PEP plays a key role in the carbon fixation process of photosynthesis. PEP is first acted on by phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC) to react with CO2 to form oxaloacetic acid, enabling plants to more efficiently obtain CO2 and convert it into energy and organic compounds.
Kit Preparation: It can be used in the preparation of CO2 determination and PEPC activity determination kits.
Packaging and Storage
Packaging: Common packaging specifications include 250mg, 1g, 5g, etc., and there is also industrial packaging of 25kg/bag.
Storage: It should be stored at room temperature, protected from light and moisture.
