Unsaturated Polyester Resins (Core Application):

Flexibility/Toughness Modifier:​ A key diol component for producing flexible, high-toughness, high-impact unsaturated polyester resins. Its pendant methyl structure effectively reduces resin crystallinity and disrupts the orderly arrangement of molecular chains, thereby significantly improving the flexibility, impact resistance, and crack resistance​ of cured resins while maintaining good mechanical strength. Widely used in artificial stone, automotive putty, flexible coatings, and adhesives.

Polyurethane Industry:

Polyester Polyol Raw Material:​ Used to synthesize branched polyester polyols​ for manufacturing high-performance polyurethane elastomers, adhesives, sealants, and coatings. The resulting polyester polyols impart excellent flexibility, hydrolysis resistance, low-temperature resistance, and weatherability​ to PU products. Commonly used in high-performance footwear, waterproof coatings, and elastomers.
