Personal Care & Cosmetics (Core Application):

O/W Emulsion Stabilizer & Thickener (commonly blended with stearyl alcohol):​ The most classic and critical component​ for formulating O/W (oil-in-water) creams, lotions, and washes. It forms a stable liquid crystal network structure​ with anionic surfactants (e.g., sodium lauryl sulfate) or other nonionic emulsifiers, significantly enhancing emulsion stability, viscosity, texture, and preventing phase separation.

Thickener:​ Small additions in shampoos, body washes, and cleansers effectively thicken and stabilize​ the system, improving rheology and sensory attributes.

Emollient/Lubricant:​ Forms a protective film on the skin, providing a smooth, soft, moisturizing feel, reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL), and improving product spreadability.

Pearlescent Agent Base:​ A key ingredient in pearl concentrates and pearlescent shampoos.

Pharmaceutical Industry:
