5.1 Semiconductor & Electronics (High Value Segment)

Photoresist Solvent (Core Application):​ PGMEA is the standard primary solvent​ for KrF and ArF photoresists used in semiconductor lithography. Its high purity (Electronic Grade) ensures no metal ion contamination (Na⁺, K⁺, Fe³⁺ < 1 ppb) that could cause circuit shorts.

Wafer Cleaning:​ Used as a component in Strippers and developers to remove post-etch resist residues and as a dilution medium for Buffered Oxide Etch (BOE).

5.2 Coatings & Inks

Industrial Coatings:​ Used in automotive OEM finishes, appliance coatings, and coil coatings as a coalescing aid and retarder solvent to improve flow, leveling, and gloss while reducing orange peel.
