5.1 Chemical Intermediates & Fine Chemicals

Surfactants:​ Ethoxylated to produce Alcohol Ethoxylates (e.g., C6E10), used as non-ionic surfactants in detergents, emulsifiers, and textile auxiliaries.

Pharmaceuticals:​ Intermediate for synthesizing APIs such as Norfloxacin (antibiotic) and certain hormones.

Flavor & Fragrance:​ Esterified to create esters like Ethyl Hexanoate​ (apple-like) and Hexyl Acetate​ (pear-like), widely used in food flavorings and perfumery.
