1. Fragrance & Personal Care:

As an ideal solvent for propanediol (specifically1,3-Butanediol) in fragrance and cosmetic applications, it exhibits excellent co-solubility with water, oils, and hydrocarbons. With a mild odor, minimal skin irritation, and very low toxicity, it ensures a uniform and consistent distribution of isomers for premium quality.

Applications include:​ Hair styling products, cleansing products (cleansing milk, shower gel, body wash, and facial cleanser), deodorants, facial, body, and hand skin care products, emollient skin care products, and balms.

2. Industrial Sector:

It serves as a fundamental industrial raw material participating in esterification reactions to synthesize unsaturated polyester resins, suitable for thction of polyurethane (PU) products, PU elastomer materials, soft and semi-rigid foam plastics. It is also used as a dispersant for pigments, and functions as a tertiary amine catalyst and multi-purpose gel catalyst.
