With a CAS number of 67674-67-3, this product is specifically developed as an additive for agricultural scenarios. It is compatible with various agricultural chemical systems and achieves a three-star standard in wettability, spreadability, penetrability and low foaming property. It will not affect spraying operations due to excessive foam during use.
It presents as a colorless to yellow transparent liquid with a clear and impurity-free appearance. This facilitates observing the mixing state in the pesticide solution and judging whether the product has deteriorated.
The product's physicochemical properties meet the complex requirements of agricultural spraying, with precise and controllable specific parameters. At 25℃, its viscosity is 20-50 mm²/s, ensuring smooth spraying after mixing with the pesticide solution without clogging the nozzle due to excessively high viscosity. The surface tension at 0.1% concentration is less than 21 mN/m, far lower than the critical wetting value of plant leaves, laying a foundation for efficient spreading. The cloud point at 1% concentration is below 10℃, and it is compatible with a pH range of 6-8, within which it can stably exert its performance.
It has excellent compatibility with MSO (methylated seed oil) and is a high-quality additive suitable for UAV spraying operations. It solves the problems of easy conflict between additives and other components and unstable effects in UAV spraying. Meanwhile, it can be widely used with various agricultural chemicals such as insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, foliar fertilizers and plant growth regulators.
As a super spreading and penetrating agent for solutions and emulsions, it can not only significantly reduce the surface tension of the spray liquid but also greatly increase the spreading area of the pesticide solution on the surfaces of plant leaves and insect bodies. Compared with ordinary additives, it enables a small amount of droplets to quickly spread and cover a larger area, reducing spraying blind spots.
It can promote the rapid penetration and absorption of the pesticide solution through plant stomata. Experiments show that the absorption rate of pesticides can reach more than 80% within 10 minutes after adding such silicone additives. The rapid absorption of the pesticide solution not only improves the pesticide effect but also enhances rainfastness, avoiding the loss of pesticide effect caused by rainfall. Moreover, this substance is easily degradable in the natural environment without residues and has low toxicity to higher animals, meeting the requirements of agricultural environmental protection.
When used as a temporarily mixed additive in the field, the recommended dosage is 0.01%-0.1%. After mixing, the pH of the pesticide solution should be adjusted to 6-8, and it should be used within 24 hours after preparation. This can minimize the hydrolysis of the additive and ensure the synergistic effect.
If used in the production and preparation of pesticide formulations, the recommended dosage is 0.1%-10%. Since it is prone to hydrolysis under acidic and alkaline conditions, a retarder can be used to adjust the system pH to 6.5-7.5, so as to ensure the product can stably exert its performance in the formulation for a long time.
It is available in standard packaging of 20L and 200L plastic drums. Meanwhile, other specifications can be customized according to the actual needs of customers, meeting the different purchasing needs of small-scale farmers and large-scale agricultural enterprises.
The product should be sealed and stored in a dry and cool place. It is strictly prohibited to contact with acids and alkalis, and it should be kept away from fire sources to avoid product failure or potential safety hazards caused by chemical reactions. The effective storage period of the product is 24 months. After exceeding the period, the performance should be tested before use.
Although the product has low toxicity, it has low surface tension and strong penetrability, and contact with the skin may cause irritation. Protective measures should be taken during operation, including wearing protective clothing and protecting the eyes. When used with potent insecticides and herbicides, the dosage of pesticides should be appropriately reduced to prevent poisoning caused by the pesticide solution penetrating through the skin or entering the human body through the respiratory tract.
