1. Core Positioning

TERMUL AIS 70 is a high-activity anionic emulsifying dispersant, with the core component being a derivative of alkylbenzene sulfonate (presumably dominated by sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate). It has an active matter content of 70%, focusing on "efficient emulsification + strong dispersion stability". It is suitable for multi-field applications such as pesticides, industrial cleaning, and textile auxiliaries, complying with EU REACH and China's GB/T 5173-2018 General Standard for Surfactants, and contains no restricted components such as nonylphenol (NP).

2. Key Technical Parameters

Indicator Category Specific Parameters Test Conditions/Explanations
Basic Physical Properties Appearance Light yellow to brown-yellow transparent liquid at room temperature, no sedimentation or delamination
  Density (20℃) 1.05-1.10 g/cm³
  Viscosity (20℃) 150-300 mPa·s (10% aqueous solution)
Solubility Easily soluble in water, ethanol, low-carbon alcohols; dispersible in organic solvents such as xylene and mineral oil
Chemical Performance Indicators Active Matter Content 68%-72% (core calibrated value, deviation ≤±2%)
Inorganic Salt Content ≤3% (reflecting the purity of the production process)
pH Value (10% Aqueous Solution) 6.0-8.0 (neutral system, wider compatibility)
Surface Tension (0.1% Aqueous Solution) 28-33 mN/m (quickly reduces interfacial tension and improves wetting effect)
Stability Indicators Thermal Stability Stored at 50℃ for 7 days, performance retention rate ≥95%
Hard Water Tolerance When the calcium and magnesium ion concentration is ≤300ppm, the emulsification efficiency does not decrease significantly

3. Core Functions and Application Scenarios

3.1 Core Functional Advantages

  • Efficient Emulsification and Decontamination: Through the amphiphilic structure of "hydrophobic alkyl chain - hydrophilic sulfonic acid group", it quickly wraps oil phase particles to form a stable emulsion or micelle, with an emulsification rate of ≥95% for mineral oil, animal and vegetable oil, and pesticide technical materials. The emulsion has no delamination after standing for 72 hours.
  • Strong Dispersion and Suspension: It can disperse solid particles (such as pesticide technical materials and pigments) into fine particles with D50 ≤5μm, with excellent suspension stability, avoiding sedimentation and delamination.
  • Wide System Compatibility: It can be compounded with most non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants, suitable for a wide pH range of 6-10, and does not react with most commonly used industrial chemicals.

3.2 Typical Application Fields and Addition Amounts

Application Field Specific Use Recommended Addition Amount Core Effectiveness
Pesticide Chemicals Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC), Wettable Powder (WP) Formulations 8%-12% Improve the thermal storage stability of the emulsion (particle size increase ≤10% after 54℃×14 days)
Industrial Cleaning Metal Degreasing Agent, Industrial Degreaser 1%-5% Quickly emulsify machine tool oil stains and equipment oil scale, with a cleaning rate ≥90%
Textile Auxiliaries Textile Pretreatment Scouring Agent, Leveling Agent 0.5%-2% Remove fabric wax/oil stains and improve the uniform adsorption of dyes
Coatings and Inks Water-based Coating Dispersant, Ink Emulsifier 2%-4% Prevent pigment precipitation and improve the uniformity of coating film formation

4. Usage Specifications and Safety Requirements

4.1 Usage Precautions

  • Compatibility Taboo: Avoid direct mixing with high-concentration cationic surfactants (such as quaternary ammonium salts) to prevent precipitation and affect performance.
  • Dosage Control: It is recommended to determine the optimal addition amount through small-scale tests. Excessive addition may lead to excessive foam in the system, and a small amount of defoamer can be used.
  • Operation Conditions: It is recommended to prepare materials in an environment of 15-40℃, with a stirring speed ≥300r/min to ensure uniform dispersion.

4.2 Storage and Shelf Life

  • Storage Conditions: Sealed and stored in a cool, ventilated place (5-30℃), avoiding direct sunlight and high-temperature environments, and away from strong oxidants.
  • Shelf Life: 24 months in unopened state, and it should be used up within 6 months after opening. The remaining product needs to be resealed to prevent moisture.

4.3 Safety and Environmental Protection

  • Toxicity Level: The acute oral toxicity LD50 (rat) >2000mg/kg, which is a low-toxic product and meets the safety standards for industrial chemicals.
  • Protection Recommendations: Wear gloves and safety glasses during operation to avoid long-term direct contact with the skin; if it accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes.
  • Environmental Requirements: It does not contain heavy metals and persistent organic pollutants. Waste disposal must comply with local environmental regulations and must not be directly discharged into drinking water sources.

5. Core Differences from Similar Products

  • Higher Active Matter Purity: The 70% high active matter content reduces the usage amount compared to ordinary products with 60% content, and the comprehensive use cost is reduced by 10%-15%.
  • Stronger Hard Water Tolerance: It can maintain stable performance in complex water quality environments without the need to add additional water softeners.
  • Better Low-Temperature Adaptability: It can be normally dissolved and used above 5℃, with a wider applicable region compared to similar products (minimum use temperature 10℃).
