5. Usage and Storage Instructions

  1. Recommended Dosage:
    • Pesticide SC systems: 1.5%-3.5% (based on the total mass of the system), for seed coating and foliar fertilizer systems with high low-foaming requirements, it is recommended to use 2.0%-3.5%;
    • Coating/ink systems: 2.0%-4.0%, for electronic-grade powder systems, it is recommended to use 2.5%-4.0%.
  2. Usage Method:
    • Direct addition: No pretreatment is required. After mixing the active ingredient/powder with water, add HDB-1035 directly, stir for 10-15 minutes, and then perform sand milling to simplify the operation process;
    • Stepwise addition: If the system foam is still slightly high, it can be added twice (60% before sand milling, 40% after sand milling) to further suppress foam generation.
  3. Storage Conditions:
    • Store in a sealed, cool, dry, and ventilated place, with the temperature controlled at 0℃-40℃, avoiding direct sunlight and low-temperature freezing (slight crystallization may occur below 0℃, and performance can be restored after heating to 10℃-20℃ and stirring evenly);
    • The package should be sealed as soon as possible after opening to prevent dust or impurities from mixing in and affecting product purity.
  4. Shelf Life: Under specified storage conditions, the shelf life is 24 months (from the production date), much longer than conventional dispersants (12 months), reducing inventory turnover pressure.

6. Precautions

  1. Although it is a low-foaming dispersant, a small amount of foam may still be generated under high-speed stirring (≥5000r/min). It is recommended to control the stirring speed within 3000r/min, or add a small amount of high-efficiency defoamer (such as polyether-modified siloxane, addition amount 0.1%-0.3%);
  2. No special protection is required during operation. If it accidentally contacts the skin, rinse with water, and it is non-irritating;
  3. Do not store it with strongly acidic substances (pH < 3.0) or strong oxidants (such as hydrogen peroxide) for a long time to prevent molecular chain breakage and affect dispersion performance;
  4. Slight color difference (colorless to pale yellow) may exist between different batches of products, which is a normal phenomenon and does not affect dispersion efficiency and low-foaming property, so it can be used with confidence.
