Melting Point and Boiling Point: As a mixture of multiple components, it has no fixed melting point and boiling point, but can maintain stable physical state and defoaming performance in the conventional production temperature environment (-10°C - 100°C).
Density: Approximately 1.0 - 1.2 g/cm³, which is similar to the density of media in most application scenarios such as water treatment and pulp black liquor, which is conducive to uniform dispersion in the system.

3. Action Principle
Destruction of Foam Film: The polysiloxane molecules in the silicone paste have extremely low surface tension and can quickly adsorb to the gas-liquid interface of the foam, replacing the original surface active substances, destroying the elasticity and stability of the foam liquid film, making the liquid film thin and rupture, thereby achieving defoaming.
Prevention of Foam Regeneration: After defoaming, some polysiloxane molecules will remain in the system, forming a very thin protective film, preventing surface active substances from accumulating at the gas-liquid interface, thereby inhibiting the generation of new foam.
4. Usage Methods and Precautions

Dilution Operation: According to specific application scenarios and foam conditions, dilute the C550 defoamer with water or thickened water, and the dilution ratio is usually between 1:5 - 1:20; for systems with extremely high stability requirements, dilute at a ratio of adding 5 parts of Tween to 100 parts of diluent. When diluting, slow stirring is required to ensure uniform mixing.
Addition Amount: The general addition amount is 0.1% - 0.5% of the total amount of the treatment system. In water treatment, it can be added at 0.1% - 0.3%; in pulp black liquor treatment, the recommended addition amount is 0.2% - 0.5%; in petroleum fractions, inks, oilfields and other fields, the addition amount can be adjusted according to the severity of foam, and the optimal dosage can be determined through small sample tests.
Addition Timing: Adding the defoamer before or just when the foam is generated can achieve the best defoaming and foam inhibition effect. For example, it can be added before the aeration link in water treatment, after the pulp black liquor cooking is completed, etc.
Precautions
Storage Conditions: Should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature. The recommended storage temperature is controlled at 5 - 30°C. During storage, the packaging barrel should be kept sealed to prevent the product from getting damp and contaminated. The shelf life of unopened products is 12 months, and it is recommended to use them up within 6 months after opening.
Safety Protection: It is recommended to wear protective gloves and goggles during operation to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. If it accidentally contacts the skin, it should be rinsed with plenty of water immediately; if it enters the eyes, it should be rinsed with plenty of water immediately and seek medical attention in time.
Compatibility Taboo: Avoid direct mixing with strong oxidants, strong acids and strong alkalis.
