2. Product Characteristics

  1. Broad Application Adaptability:

    • In PVC polymerization, it effectively eliminates foam generated during monomer polymerization, ensuring the smooth progress of the polymerization reaction and improving product quality and production efficiency. During degassing and stripping processes, it quickly breaks the foam structure to facilitate gas discharge.
    • For the manufacturing and processing of polymer dispersions used in textiles, paper, coatings, and surface coatings, it prevents foam from affecting the uniformity and stability of products, avoids defects such as bubbles and pinholes in coatings, and enhances the appearance and performance of final products.
    • In adhesives, cooling lubricants, and textile formulations, it inhibits foam formation to maintain the good working state of the system, ensuring the effectiveness and quality of products during use. When applied to floor coatings, it prevents foam residue during construction, making the floor surface flatter and more attractive while enhancing wear resistance and durability.
  2. Efficient Defoaming & Long-Lasting Foam Inhibition:It has the ability to quickly penetrate the foam layer and break the surface tension of foam, eliminating existing foam rapidly. At the same time, its molecular structure can function for a long time in the system, effectively inhibiting the re-formation of foam, keeping the production process in a low-foam or foam-free state, and reducing production interruptions and product quality defects caused by foam issues.

Excellent Chemical Stability:It exhibits outstanding acid resistance, alkali resistance, and temperature resistance, and can maintain stable defoaming performance within a wide temperature range (approximately -10℃ to 150℃) and pH range (pH 2 to 12). In different chemical environments, it has good compatibility with various additives, solvents, and other components in the system, without adverse phenomena such as flocculation, demulsification, or stratification, and does not affect the original performance of the system.

Low Dosage & High Cost-Effectiveness:Only a small amount (generally 0.05% - 0.5% of the total system volume; the specific dosage needs to be determined through small-scale tests based on the foam condition of the actual application system) is required to achieve the ideal defoaming and foam-inhibiting effect, reducing usage costs. Compared with some similar defoamers, it can effectively reduce the dosage while ensuring defoaming performance, bringing higher economic benefits to users.

  3. Coating & Surface Coating Industry: Applied in the manufacturing and construction of various coatings (e.g., water-based coatings, solvent-based coatings) and surface coatings to ensure coating quality.
  4. Adhesive & Lubricant Industry: Used in the production and application of adhesives and in cooling lubricant systems to maintain system stability and ensure product performance.
  5. Floor Coating Field: Prevents foam generation during the production and construction of floor coatings, creating high-quality floor surfaces.

4. Usage Methods

  • Dosage: Conduct small-scale tests in the laboratory first, and determine the optimal dosage based on the foam condition and requirements of the system. The general dosage range is 0.05% - 0.5% of the total system volume.
  • Addition Method: It can be directly added to the system during the stirring stage of the production process. To ensure more uniform dispersion of the defoamer in the system, it can also be pre-diluted with an appropriate amount of water or solvent in the system before being added slowly. During the addition process, continuous stirring is required to promote the rapid action of the defoamer.

5. Storage & Transportation

  • Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and high-temperature environments. The recommended storage temperature is controlled between 5℃ and 35℃. Keep the package sealed to prevent the product from absorbing moisture, volatilizing, or being contaminated.
  • Shelf Life: Under suitable storage conditions, the shelf life of the product is usually 12 - 24 months.
  • Transportation Requirements: It is a non-hazardous chemical and can be transported via conventional methods such as road and railway as ordinary goods. During transportation, care should be taken to avoid severe collision and inversion to prevent damage to the packaging barrel and impact on product quality.
