2. Product Characteristics

3. Application Fields

4. Usage Method & Recommended Dosage

  • Recommended Dosage: Based on the total formula, the dosage generally ranges from 0.1% to 0.5%. The actual dosage needs to be accurately adjusted through tests according to the foaming degree of the specific system, production process, and requirements for defoaming effects.
  • Addition Method:
    • Direct Addition Method: Under stirring, slowly and evenly add Defom W-082 to the system, and continue stirring for 5 - 10 minutes to ensure the defoamer is fully dispersed. Suitable for small-scale production or situations where there is no strict requirement on the addition time.
    • Dilution Addition Method: Pre-dilute the defoamer with an appropriate amount of water or system solvent by 2 - 5 times, then add it to the system. This method helps improve the dispersion effect of the defoamer in the system and is suitable for large-scale production or systems with high requirements for defoamer dispersibility.

5. Storage & Safety

  • Storage Conditions: Should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, protected from direct sunlight and high-temperature environments. The recommended storage temperature is 5 - 35℃ to prevent the product's performance from being affected by excessively high or low temperatures. Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life of the product is usually 12 - 18 months.
  • Safety Precautions: Although the product is non-flammable, it is still necessary to avoid contact with open flames and high temperatures during use; it is recommended that operators wear protective gloves and goggles to prevent the product from contacting the skin and eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly. The product is non-edible and should be stored away from children.
