4. Usage Instructions
Addition Amount: Based on the total formula mass, the recommended addition amount range is 0.1% - 1.0%. For example, for high-end wood paints with extremely high flatness requirements, the addition amount may need to be appropriately increased.
Adding Method: During the production process of coatings, adhesives or inks, BYK-381 leveling agent can be added in the grinding stage or the paint (adhesive, ink) mixing stage. After adding, it needs to be fully stirred evenly, and the stirring time is generally not less than 15 minutes to ensure that the leveling agent is evenly dispersed in the system and fully exerts its performance.
