4. Usage Instructions

1. Addition Amount: Based on the mass of the total formula, the recommended addition amount is 0.1% - 1.0%. For example, for leather coatings with high smoothness requirements, the addition amount may need to be appropriately increased.
2. Adding Method: In the production process of coatings or adhesives, it can be added in the grinding stage or paint (adhesive) mixing stage. After adding, it needs to be fully stirred for no less than 15 minutes to ensure that BYK-378 leveling agent is evenly dispersed in the system and fully exerts its performance.
3. Precautions: Although BYK-378 has good compatibility with various systems, when using new formulas or using it with other additives, it is recommended to conduct small-scale compatibility tests first to avoid adverse reactions and affect product quality.

5. Storage and Safety

1. Storage Conditions: Should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, and the storage temperature should be controlled at 5 - 35°C. Avoid direct sunlight and high-temperature environments, and keep the package sealed to prevent the product from getting damp or mixed with impurities. Under the conditions that meet the storage conditions, the shelf life is usually 12 months. If the product becomes thick in a low-temperature environment, it will not affect the normal use of the product after the temperature returns to normal and is stirred evenly.
