4. Usage Instructions
Addition Amount: 0.1% - 1.0% based on the total formula. The specific addition amount needs to be determined by experiments according to the coating system, construction process and performance requirements. Generally speaking, for two-component polyurethane systems, the recommended addition amount is 0.3% - 0.8%.
Adding Method: It can be added during the grinding or paint mixing stage of coating production, and stir thoroughly to ensure that the additive is well dispersed in the coating system. The stirring time is recommended to be no less than 15 minutes.
Compatibility Precautions: Although BYK-370 is compatible with various resin systems, it is still recommended to conduct compatibility tests before use. Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline substances or chemicals that react violently with hydroxyl groups, so as not to affect the performance of the additive.
5. Storage and Safety
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse at a temperature of 5 - 35°C, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature. The shelf life is usually 12 months. During storage, the package should be kept sealed to prevent moisture and impurities from entering.
