2. Product Performance

  • Strongly Reduce Surface Tension: In water-based coatings, printing inks and varnish systems, it can significantly reduce the surface tension of the system, making coatings and inks easier to spread on the substrate surface, avoiding surface defects such as craters and fisheyes, and helping to form uniform and smooth coatings or printed patterns.
  • Significantly Improve Substrate Wettability: It can greatly enhance the wetting ability to various substrates. Whether it is common substrates such as metals, plastics and papers, or some special substrates with low surface energy and difficult to wet, it can make coatings and inks adhere better and improve the bonding force between coatings or printed layers and substrates.

3. Application Fields

  • Water-based Coatings: Widely used in various water-based industrial coatings, water-based architectural coatings, water-based wood coatings, etc. In water-based industrial coatings, it can optimize the leveling and adhesion of coatings on metal, plastic and other workpieces, and improve the protective performance and appearance quality of coatings; in water-based architectural coatings, it can improve the wetting of coatings to substrates such as walls and ceilings, making the surface after painting more smooth and uniform in color; for water-based wood coatings, it helps coatings to spread evenly on the wood surface, enhances adhesion, and does not affect the original texture of the wood surface.
  • Printing Inks: Suitable for water-based inks in various printing processes such as gravure printing and flexographic printing. It can improve the transfer and adhesion effect of ink on substrates (such as paper, plastic films, etc.), make printed patterns clearer and colors more vivid, and reduce problems such as ink flying and plate blocking.

  • Recommended Dosage: The general recommended addition amount is 0.05% - 0.5% of the total formula. The specific dosage needs to be determined through experiments according to the actual formula, process and performance requirements.
