4. Usage Method

• Addition Timing: Can be added at any stage of the coating production process, including the grinding and paint mixing stages. For uniform dispersion and optimal performance, it is recommended to add slowly during coating mixing with sufficient stirring time to ensure full integration with the coating system.
• Recommended Dosage: Typically 0.05–0.3% based on the total formula. However, the actual dosage should be determined through tests according to specific coating formulas, construction processes, and required performance to achieve the best leveling, smoothness, and anti-blocking effects.

5. Precautions

• Compatibility Test: Before using BYK-344 leveling agent, especially in new coating formulas or systems, conduct a compatibility test to ensure no adverse reactions with other coating components (e.g., resins, pigments, curing agents), avoiding impacts on coating performance and stability.
• Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. The recommended storage temperature is 5–35°C. Under suitable conditions, the product has a long shelf life, but always check the appearance and performance before use.
