It can be prepared from o-bromophenol and m-dinitrobenzene using 2-acetyl-1-naphthol as a ligand, in the presence of potassium tert-butoxide, pyridine and a catalyst, by heating under reflux in an organic solvent. This method has a yield of over 90% and an HPLC purity of over 99%.
Uses
Organic Synthesis Intermediate: As an important intermediate of organic optoelectronic materials, it can be used to synthesize other organic compounds with special properties.
Photosensitive Group: Derivatives such as NDBF-EGTA can be used as two-photon photosensitive groups for masking metal ions, with high quantum yield, large enough photon cross-section and good water solubility.
